Privacy Policy.

In line with current data regulation, General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) and the Data Protection Act 2018, Cognisant Ltd has updated our privacy policy.  As a responsible and transparent recruiter, we are letting candidates know how we will use, store and handle your data.

How we collect your data?
To ensure the best possible service, and to ensure we’re talking to you about relevant opportunities, we need to hold information about you. This information is sourced by your direct approach, job boards, and LinkedIn. All data is stored on our market-leading, secure database system and accessed via secure log in details by Cognisant Ltd staff only. This data is stored once we have received a CV from you for us to assist you in finding a new position. You will be notified before submitting your CV to any prospective companies. This will only be with your permission.

Why we collect your data?
To find you the best possible role, we need to know information about your skills, experience, career, and salary aspirations. This way we can introduce you to potential employers for roles which match with your experience and aspirations.

When will we share your data?
We will only ever share your data with companies/clients and partner affiliates, with your permission.

What rights do you have?
You have many rights when it comes to the protection of your personal data. For example, you can request to see what data we have on you at any time by emailing mark@cognisantsearch.com
